Within a few hours after the first look of Laxmmi Bomb got released, director of the film Raghava Lawrence took to Twitter and posted a shocking tweet that he is stepping out of the project.
He said that self respect is most important attribute to a person's character more than money and fame and that is why he decided to step out of the project.
"I don't want to mention the reason, as there are multiple reasons, but one of the them is that, the makers have released the first look poster without my knowldege and even without discussing anything about it." the director said.
"It is very painful for a director to know about his film's first look release through others and I feel disrespectful and disappointed about it."
"I can hold the script as I didn't sign any agreement, but I won't do it because I personally have a lot of respect for Akshay Kumar sir. The makers can replace me with some other director and soon I am going to meet Akshay Sir to give the script and step out of this project in a good way" he added.
On the other hand, the makers of the film announced the film's release date as June 5, 2020, and we have to see whether they will replace the director or convince Raghava Lawrence to come back to the project.
