After a gala New Year bash, we are into the festive season with the joyous Pongal being not so far... Apart from traditions and customs that are performed in all the households, this festival is known for setting new goals in the Tollywood with the high-budget movies releases. Every Sankranthi will be having a bunch of films hitting the box-office and this year too it is the same. Tollywood is set for some big movies and reportedly it is said to be amassing 400 crores with four films.

NTR Kathanayakudu

The biopic on legendary actor Shri Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao has hit the theatres and took off to a decent start as per the box-office reports. The flick that focusses on the film and political Journey of the iconic figure is directed by Krish and hence the expectations are at peaks.

Vinaya Vidheya Rama

After a massive blockbuster hit with the Rangasthalam, Mega Powerstar Ram Charan has come up with high voltage family action entertainer. Going by the title, director Boyapati seems to be coming out of his trademark action stories but the trailer of the flick elevates the typical Boyapati's elements. Let's wait for a day to judge the director's calibre on January 11.


Here comes the most awaited film for this Sankranthi where all the married men are waiting for. The flick revolves around the sufferings of men from their dominant wives and this element has grabbed all the attention generating huge laughs. Victory Venkatesh and Varun Tej are all set to make the fans roll on the floor laughing on January 12.


Despite a controversy around the film regarding the issue of theatres in two Telugu states, the flick has got a good number of theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the 'Superstar' starrer will have its own audience from south India. The flick is slated for January 10.
