The Himmatwaala actress is well known for her appealing expressions who can portray the multiple expressions in a single frame which helped her bag the title 'Queen Of Expressions'. The beautiful looks and an everlasting smile on her face made all the fans go berserk. But all those smiles and expressions can't be seen as she left the world on February 25, 2018.

Born as Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan, Sridevi started her filmy career as a child artist at the age of four starring in a Tamil movie Thunaivan. Later, she appeared in numerous films in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi languages. The English Vinglish actor made her debut in the B-town with the movie Julie and since then she ruled the Bollywood with her scintillating performances.

Sridevi won accolades as a child artist in this movie and her performance was simply superb. Superstar Ghattamaneni Krishna and Vijaya Nirmala played the lead roles.

One of the best films in Sridevi's career is Padaharella Vayasu, which showcased all her talents, be it dance, expression or acting. Her performance in the film created a benchmark for the actresses in those days.


Starring opposite all-time great actor NTR (senior), Sridevi showed her excellence in terms of acting, dancing and portrayed emotions with such ease. She outperformed NTR in the song 'Aaku Chatu Pinda Thadise...' which is one of the all-time super hits.

Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari

Sridevi mesmerised the audience as a celestial beauty in the movie and grabbed the attention of the audience with her unique dialogue delivery and innocent expressions.

Sridevi shared the screen with Venkatesh and portrayed her emotions effortlessly as a middle-class young girl. Thanks to the director Ram Gopal Varma who directed her to the much perfection.

Sridevi stunned all and sundry with her stupendous acting skills in this movie which was made under the influence of a Hollywood movie, The Great Robbery.


Himmatwaala is one of her blockbuster hits in Bollywood that earned her a huge stardom. Starring opposite great actor Jeetendra, Sridevi did an awesome job. Her sparkling expressions in the song 'Naino Mein Sapna...' made her male fans go crazy.

English Vinglish

Even after a long gap, Sridevi made her come bac with a blazing performance in the movie English Vinglish. Her performance as a homemaker who struggles to learn English was splendid.took the audience breath away.


The most recent one and the actor's 300th flick produced by her husband Boney Kapoor is MOM. She portrayed the title role and stole the show with her impeccable and remarkable acting skills. Unfortunately, this was her last movie and we miss her terribly.
