Rajinikanth's 2.0, which is having a terrific run at the domestic as well as the US box office is all set to test its luck at the China box office. The film will be released across 47,000+ 3D screens which sets the record as the widest release ever for any foreign film in the history.
The film's production house Lyca Productions took to Twitter and announced this news:
Directed by India's top director Shankar, Rajinikanth played a triple role in the film- a scientist, a robot and a 3.0 version micro robot while Akshay Kumar who is a bird lover is seen as an antagonist. Amy Jackson essayed the role of a humanoid robot.
Made on a huge budget of around Rs. 550 crores, the film has collected Rs. 450 crores globally as of now and is still going strong. The sci-fi thriller is attracting all section of audiences like youth, family and kids.
