'The Godfather' Star Al Pacino To Star In 'The Hunt'

Amitabh Bachchan Gets Emotional On Wrapping 'Jhund' Shoot

Pongal Movie Releases: Is Tollywood Going To Repeat The Same 2017 Tale?

Written by : Entertainment Team

When we speak about the first week of New Year, it was a total different story... A much-loved and great leader's biopic, a mass director's combination with Mega Power star's stamina and a family hero's comedy timing doubled up with the young hero's addition! Many thought this Pongal would raise the collection records a notch higher...

But coming to the second week, everything is changed! Although NTR Kathanayakudu received a good talk and going decently at ticket windows, Ram Charan's VVR made the audience to leave the theatres with an angry emoticon. Then followed by the Superstar Rajinikanth's Petta, it is considered to be a below average movie. Except for Rajini's screen presence there was nothing much to do with the same old story.

Mega Powerstar Ram Charan's Vinaya Vidheya Rama has hit the theatres today and is turning out to be the biggest flop receiving the worst reviews from all quarters. Boyapati Srinu who is known for his high voltage actions stories has nothing new to show hence it would remain as a disastrous film in Charan's career, which is quite contrary to his blockbuster film Rangasthalam.

The other film from Mega Family is ready to hit the screens tomorrow. All the hopes are on Venkatesh and Varun Tej starrer F2 where the audience has kept all their hopes on this film to entertain them.

The last 'Pongal' was also a disappointing one with Pawan Kalyan's Agnyatavaasi bombing terribly at the box office while NBK's Jai Simha and Suriya's Gang being average hits.

Will F2 remain as the 'Pongal' bonanza for the Telugu states??? Let's wait for a day...
