'Lakshmi's NTR' In Trouble: RGV Files A Case Against CBFC

Written by : Entertainment Team

It is not new for directors like RGV to fight against the system of Censorship when art itself is to enlighten the minds of audience in an entertaining manner! In the past, he had issues with Censor Board for his picturisation of over-board violence but the latest cause of the fight related to 'Lakshmi's NTR' is very different as the Censor Board did not watch the film and even turned down the request of an applicant,  Ram Gopal Varma who just wanted his movie 'Lakshmi's NTR' to get into the public domain on March 22 without fail but his dreams shattered leaving him to file a case against the board.

Ram Gopal Varma lashed at the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) for turning down the creativity and right to expression of an ordinary citizen of India in the pretext of negative publicity to an individual and his Political Party which is not at all true as the movie is just a collection of historical events he said and attached a letter on his twitter handle and cited the latest case of 'Padmavat' and how director Sanjay Leela Bhansali released his movie!

It is evident that Lakshmi's NTR was scheduled to release on March 22 but with CBFC turning it down to issue certificate it is now a million dollar question as when Lakshmi's NTR would come to big screens!
