National Award winning actor Akshay Kumar, who is known as 'Khiladi' of Bollywood is turning 50 today (September 9). The legendary actor forayed into movies as a martial art instructor in Mahesh Bhatt's directorial Aaj before appearing in the lead roles. The actor who got a break through the movie Khiladi has first played a lead role in the movie Saugandh.

The Chandini Chowk To China hero was born in New Delhi and grew up in the Chandini Chowk city and is best known for his versatile acting. The Rustom hero started his career by starring in action films and later on, he excelled with his mind-blowing acting skills; be it emotional drama, romantic or comic roles, he now does everything to the perfection. He is the one who gained Super Star title by giving tough competition to his contemporaries like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.
