We have earlier reported that producers Allu Aravind, Namit Malhotra and Madhu Mantena have joined hands to make the great Indian epic, Ramayana, into a film.
The trio has been working on the script for the past one year and finally it seems like the film is all set to go on floors soon.
As per the latest update, the film will be made into three parts and Nitesh Tiwari of Dangal fame and Ravi Udyawar of Mom fame will together direct the film. Also, one more exciting update is that, the first part of Ramayana is scheduled for release in 2021.
The film will be shot in 3D and the estimated budget is around Rs 500 crore. Touted to be the nation’s most ambitious project, Ramayana will be shot in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
The casting is yet-to-be-finalised and the moviegoers have already started debates and polls on who should play the lead roles of Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, Bharata, Shatrughana, Viswamitra, etc.
