With the election fever all around the corner, all the political parties are have stuck in their preparations to grab the power. If we talk about today's politics, there is a lot of anti-incumbency with the presence of corrupt politicians. So, there is a desperate need of the younger generation who has all the leadership qualities to foray into politics for the betterment of the people in the country.

When it comes to movies, Tollywood had produced many films on politics but we Eeyuva collated a few films that delineate the importance and power of the youth in the politics.

Shiva (1989)

The trend-setting film in Telugu film industry directed by Ram Gopal Varma deals with the student's politics where the protagonist takes a plunge into politics after seeing the prevailing bizarre scenario in college politics. Akkineni Nagarjuna as young guy best fits the bill for the role of a student leader.

Naaga (2003)

JR NTR starrer Naaga is a story about a law student who enters into the politics after vexed with corrupt politics. Being the grandson of NTR senior, the Young tiger showed the political blood in the film.

Yuva (2004)

The romantic and sensible director Mani Ratnam has come up with a political drama, which shows the various sides of politics and how the youth are affected by corrupt politics. Siddhartha, Madhavan and Suriya did well in elevating the director vision.

Sainikudu (2006)

Set in the backdrop of University politics, the Naga Chaitanya highlights the redemption of a college student. Donning the hat of a rebel, Naga Chaitanya plays the character of Satya who goes fearlessly against a corrupted politician to bring the change in the students who support the corrupt politicians.

Leader (2010)

Sekhar Akmmula directorial revolves around a guy who went on to become the chief minister if the state upon the last wish of his father. Rana as a sensitive politician took the movie to the next level with his performance.
