The cool and breezy monsoon season has arrived at last… The refreshing climate will make us shake our legs amidst the windy shower and bracing air, isn't it? Yes…
But the main problems lie here itself… Although you may enjoy every bit of rain, but the rain water directly takes a toll on your hair making it dry, lifeless and frizzy.
Then what to do??? Book saloon appointments? Change conditioner or shampoo???
Well, we say to replace your shampoo with a DIY! Yes… You heard it right! Prepare your own shampoo and see the magic!
Aloe Vera Shampoo
¼ cup distilled water
¼ cup aloe vera gel
¼ tsp jojoba oil
¼ cup liquid castile soap
1 tsp glycerine
Nothing much to do… Just add all the ingredients into a bowl and mix them well. Transfer this liquid concoction to a shampoo bottle and shake well before use. Store it in a cool place.
Take a dollop of shampoo and mix it in a cup of water. Apply it on your hair and scalp and massage your scalp. Let the foam clean off your scalp and hair. Rinse and wash off with cold water and then go for conditioner.
Let your tresses dry naturally and then de-tangle the strands with a wide-toothed comb.
Wash your hair with this shampoo twice a week and before that offer a warm oil chumpy. Note that you should pamper your hair with an oil massage before day itself.
For this monsoon, your hair definitely needs a moisturising shampoo and this DIY perfectly matches your need. The jojoba oil will nourish the scalp and help in making your strands smooth and soft.
Coming to aloe vera gel and distilled water, they clean off the foreign particles and eliminate bacteria from the mane. Finally, the soap is used for the foam generation and to get that shampoo consistency.
So girls, from now on stop spending on expensive branded shampoos and prepare your own ones and see the results… You will be pretty much impressed for sure!
